In almost all cases, it is much better to place the implant under the muscle. In cases of tubular breast or the gland has herniated through the areola, over the muscle implantation is necessary for a normal appearance. Otherwise under the muscle creates the most natural appearance, avoids rippled or obvious show, gives more support to avoid unsightly sagging as occurs over the muscle, and the incidence of hardening (capsular contraction) is 5% or less compared to 70% or more over the muscle. Thank you for a great question commonly not understood!

Hello!
Wow...it really was an incredible evening, wasn't it!? Joe Cocker is so amazing.....I was just standing there, staring at a legend. Luckily, during "You are so beautiful" I was allowed to sit up on the left side of the stage. Such an emotional song to get to sit so close during...made for a very memorable experience :)
The response to the Girls Nite Out has been incredible and I'm happy to help out with the extra night's to allow everyone a little one-on-one time with Dr. Kaplan. It's well worth it and I can't imagine anyone having cosmetic surgery without consulting a GOOD doctor.
We followed up the concert with another CA.L.M. session on Monday. I'm back at work and feeling good so I'm hoping we can do it again next week. Did another LED facial too....i just love it and saw the results this morning. Reduced pores, smooth skin, a refreshed look. The products are nice too....I don't think i'd ever need to visit a dermatologist again. Never have I had results like this with anything I've ever tried before. Ok, back to work for me :)

haha...he is sooo nice, isn't he?! I am so happy with everything that Dr. Kaplan just discussed in his blog...all results were done so delicately that I do not look like i've had work done. You'll see if you come out to the WMMO downtown concert series with Joe Cocker on Sunday, April 19th. We'll both be hanging out and chatting with anyone interested in cosmetic surgery or if you just want to have a look at the doctors handiwork! He's a gem!!

Good Morning Dr. Kaplan!
It's wednesday, i just got to work and wanted to let you know that i'm happy with monday's lipodissolve after only 2 days :) I feel like I woke up with maybe 50% less swelling...or fat loss? It's cool to "see" the fat go away and it's only slightly tender to the touch, so I feel it's progressing very nicely. No concerns or complications.
I HAVE to ask...what do you call the procedure we did with the lamps on my face? My skin looks sooo much better...my pores are greatly reduced and I just have a really "refreshed" appearance. What do you call that procedure? How often can it be done?..and will it reduce the acne scarring I have? Phil even said to me last nite, that my skin looked great...and that was after a long day at work and my hair in the "i hope no one see's me" ponytail! hehe ~elise

Hi Dr. Kaplan....this is cool, my first time blogging, one of the many "firsts" you've given me the opportunity to experience :)
So, I left your office this morning, after the CA.L.M treatment to rid the leftover pregnancy belly I've been a bit down about. I'm sitting in my office chair, the ice pack is in my lunch bag and i'm not uncomfortable at all. I can feel we did something, but I'm happy to be able to be sitting here getting work done as opposed to taking time off...and although the results will come gradually over a short time, I'm excited to have begun to get a handle on it now.

We're going to have a great time at the concert and just wanted to say that's it's near impossible for me to write how grateful I am for what we're doing....I feel fantastic (and i STILL haven't had a cig yet!). I'm really looking forward to talking to women (& men!) interested in cosmetic surgery and I'm more than proud to be standing next to YOU while doing it! Your friend, Elise
